Dealstream Browser — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Dealstream Browser is designed to keep your browsing data on your device. This policy explains what data the app touches and why.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no first-party backend. The app makes no network requests to Dealstream-owned servers.

What stays on your device

You can wipe all of this at any time from Settings → Clear browsing data or Settings → Reset per-site permissions. Uninstalling the app removes everything.

Runtime permissions

The browser requests the following runtime permissions only in response to a website’s request:

Each request shows a per-site prompt with Allow / Deny. The underlying data is forwarded directly from the Android OS API to the requesting website, never to Dealstream.

Affiliate rewriting

When you visit certain merchants — Amazon India, Flipkart, Shopsy, or Myntra — the browser adds an affiliate query parameter to the URL in the first HTTP request. This lets Dealstream earn a commission on purchases you make. Your prices are exactly the same as without the browser. No other websites are touched.

Children

Dealstream Browser is a general-purpose web browser and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone (see “What we collect” above).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised.
